Power Outages
FCEC is dedicated to providing the most reliable power supply possible. However, if
your electric power goes off, please follow these instructions:
- Check your fuses or circuit breakers to determine if the problem is within your home.
- Check to see if your neighbors have power. This will help FCEC determine whether the
trouble is caused by a transformer serving your home, or is more general in nature.
- Have the lower portion of your bill handy so you can give FCEC information he or she
will need.
- To report an outage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, phone the FCEC Office at
(903)583-2117.
- Business hours for FCEC are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
- Telephones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.
- If a serviceman makes a call to your premises and finds the problem is not FCEC's
responsibility, you will be billed for a service charge to cover the expense.
- If the outage is FCEC's responsibility, there is no charge.
