Power Outages

FCEC is dedicated to providing the most reliable power supply possible. However, if your electric power goes off, please follow these instructions:

  1. Check your fuses or circuit breakers to determine if the problem is within your home.
  2. Check to see if your neighbors have power. This will help FCEC determine whether the trouble is caused by a transformer serving your home, or is more general in nature.
  3. Have the lower portion of your bill handy so you can give FCEC information he or she will need.
  4. To report an outage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, phone the FCEC Office at (903)583-2117.
  5. Business hours for FCEC are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
  6. Telephones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.
  7. If a serviceman makes a call to your premises and finds the problem is not FCEC's responsibility, you will be billed for a service charge to cover the expense.
  8. If the outage is FCEC's responsibility, there is no charge.
